HERfessions App
The founders of Safe Space Initiative had a partners meeting with the User Friendly Justice representative in Lagos to share the progress report of the HERfession app development and discuss more ways that partnership can be forged. Safe Space Initiative recognizes that digital spaces are not always safe for women and girls, with increasing cases of technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV), including online harassment, stalking, and digital surveillance. Through our digital initiative, HERfessions, we provide survivors with an anonymous, tech-enabled platform that connects them to legal, psychosocial, health, and shelter services while ensuring confidentiality and security. Our approach combines awareness, advocacy, and partnerships to reach wider audiences and strengthen online protections.
