Tosin Akinbode

Oluwatosin Akinbode is a Corporate and Technology Lawyer with over ten years working experience. She is passionate about lending her voice to initiatives and communities that eliminate gender-based violence, provide a listening ear and psychosocial support for survivors.

 

She is a mentor at ReadySetWork, an employability and entrepreneurship program for youths. Co-founder of social development initiatives, THR Media (Think, Help, Restore), Safe Space Initiative and ‘Donate a Book, Save a future today’ project which aims at making a difference in the world through the power of books by implementing literacy programs.

Osasu Edobor

Osasumwen Edobor is a social development expert with over twelve years’ experience as a gender advocate infusing new media and technology to propagate gender inclusion.

She previously worked as the Programme Director of the Bimbo Odukoya Foundation where she facilitated the provision of GBV intervention schemes such as a temporary safe house for survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse, and gender-responsive programming for young people.

Osasumwen is the co-founder of Safe Space Initiative and Think Help Restore (THR) Media.

Dr. Gbonjubola Babalola-Abiri

Gbonjubola Babalola-Abiri is a Consultant Psychiatrist, Managerial Psychologist, and the C.E.O of Redi-Med Consulting Services (a Medical Consultancy firm). 

 

She is passionate about research in child and adolescent forensic, women’s mental health, and occupational mental health, Gbonjubola is a Mental Health advocate who is driven by the holistic view to health, and as such is a regular voice on various print and electronic media. 

She is the co-founder of Safe Space Initiative and Think Help Restore (THR) Media.

Amy Oyekunle is a gender and development professional with over 15 years experience in women peace and security, gender analysis, audit and research,resource mobilization, donor relationship, project management and community mobilization within Nigeria.

Her experience covers non-profit leadership, working with policy-makers, international development partners, civil society and community based organizations in sub-saharan Africa.

Naomi Lucas

Naomi Lucas is passionate about using creativity to drive personal, organizational and social change. You will find her straddling the intersection between media, youth and technology. 

 

She brings to the table her strategic mind, entrepreneurial spirit, business savvy, exemplary work ethic, fearlessness, values-based leadership, conscientiousness, drive, vast professional network and doggedness in getting results. 

 

Naomi runs eclat, a creative boutique powering emerging businesses in SUb-saharan Africa. She is also the founder of Graduatepro and International Youth Development Centre (IYDC), vehicles through which she works to increase access to economic opportunities for young people on the African continent.

Bunmi Idumu

Bunmi Idumu is a lecturer with four years of experience within the universities educational sector.

 

Having been a victim of domestic abuse, who narrowly escaped death, Bunmi became a Domestic Violence ambassador with Solace Women’s Aid London, where she promotes projects, initiatives and campaigns. She is also a board member at Safe Space Initiative, Nigeria, and for both organisations, she is committed to raising awareness on domestic abuse issues. 

Bunmi is passionate about sharing her experience, hoping it might help other women access the support they need to lead and live better lives away from their abusers/perpetrators.

 

Beyond her day’s job, she is a Business Researcher/Advisor for startup companies and the founder of Frosting Treatz, a cake-making business specialising in blending various cultural flavours to produce unique and diverse cake tastes that meet clients’ specifications. Being a business researcher and a cake maker began as a hobby which evolved into profit- making businesses after she completed her first degree in International Business Management with First-Class honours and bagged awards as a Top Achiever. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Analysis and Consultancy and recently completed teaching programmes which got her into the Fellowship of Higher Education. In addition, she mentors teenagers and volunteers for Christian organisations as a Service Manager and a Content Operations Manager.

Amanda Ego Justina Demechi-Asagba is a Lawyer, Human Rights Activist, Gender Researcher, Mediator, Notary Public and the President of African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA).

She is the Principal Partner of Amanda D Asagba Chambers with bias for Corporate Practice, Family Law, Real Estate, Human Rights, and Immigration. She is also a legal Adviser to Cain Educational and Medical Foundation, Maritime Consultants Limited, Rictan Consultants Limited among others.

Adegboyega Adebajo

degboyega Adebajo is an astute Investment Banking Professional with over three decades of experience, his love for the social sector saw him often invited by the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan African University, as a facilitator for a number of their programmes.

Adegboyega is well traveled within and outside Nigerian and can leverage on a wide socio-political and professional network in Nigeria and abroad. 

He is presently engaged as Business Development Service Consultant to the Nigerian Incentive-Based Risk Sharing for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL) PLC. A wholly owned private sector incorporated entity of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
